Tbilisoba

3–4 October 2026

Tbilisoba is Tbilisi’s city day, celebrated since 1979 at the time of rtveli, the grape harvest. In 2026 it falls on 3 and 4 October and spreads across the city centre: Rike Park and Orbeliani Square, plus Gudiashvili Square, Leghvtakhevi, Europe Square and the Metekhi Bridge. According to the City Hall, there will be trade and food zones with an exhibition-sale and tastings of wine, honey and traditional sweets, and cooking master classes. Children’s concerts run in the daytime, and both days close with musical evenings and theatrical shows. On 4 October at 20:00 the city confers the title of Honorary Citizen of Tbilisi.
