Grdzelmtevana

Grdzelmtevana — 'long-bunched' — is a white variety from Kakheti, first noted in 1933 in the village of Bodbiskhevi; VIVC records Tkis Vazi, 'forest vine', among its synonyms. Georgian regulations recommend it for Inner Kakheti. It ripens in mid-September and gives a yellowish-straw dry white that improves with age.
