Rkatsiteli Vardisperi

Rkatsiteli Vardisperi, 'pink Rkatsiteli', is a bud mutation of Rkatsiteli with pink berries, identified in 1948 by Vasil Loladze. It grows in Kakheti — in the Gurjaani, Telavi, Lagodekhi and Akhmeta districts — and is recommended by Georgian regulations for Inner Kakheti. The vine accumulates sugar well and is used for dry white wine and for pink dessert wine.
