KakhetiRegistered December 10, 2007

The upper Alazani, left bank: the mouths of the Stori and Didkhevi-Lopota gorges running off the southern side of the Caucasus. Vineyards sit at 400–500 m on 3–5° slopes, across Napareuli, Saniore, Jugaani, Artana, Pshaveli and Laliskuri. Napareuli comes in both colours, each dry: white from Rkatsiteli, red from Saperavi.

Authenticity

No known authenticity issues

Napareuli is a dry PDO from northern Kakheti on the left bank of the Alazani, producing Rkatsiteli whites and Saperavi reds. Supply broadly matches the zone and it carries no notable authenticity concern; the wine should come from the registered Napareuli zone.

The dot marks the locality the appellation is named after.
