The class is a judgement about the competition, not about the wines. It rests on four public grounds, and what we relied on is printed here in plain text.
International competition for Merlot and Cabernet wines, held near Bergamo every year since 2005 by a cooperative of local winegrowers, under OIV patronage. Samples are coded twice, the second time by a public official, and medals respect the OIV cap of 30% per category. Weight is moderate: the field is small (304 wines from 25 countries in 2024) and entry is paid (€100 per wine).
