Imereti, the left bank of the Kvirila, a tributary of the Rioni, on the northern slopes of the central Imeretian foothills. The elevation is just 220 m, the climate humid subtropical with a mild winter. The zone covers Pirveli Sviri, Meore Sviri and Rodinauli. The wine is a dry white from Tsolikouri, Tsitska and Krakhuna.

Sviri is a dry white PDO from the village of Sviri in the Zestaponi municipality of Imereti (western Georgia), made from a blend of Tsolikouri, Tsitska and Krakhuna. It is an established Imeretian dry appellation whose supply broadly matches the zone, with no notable authenticity concern; the wine should come from the registered Sviri zone.
